WHAT OUR VISITORS SAY

Today on the spur of the moment, I decided to treat myself to a visit with the magnificent Clydesdales at The Stable, who were all at 'home' due to the bad weather. What an absolutely delightful experience! It included a yummy morning tea with good coffee, a short film about the 150 year history of the railway and horse tram, meeting & petting nine of these gentle giants, learning from their informative handlers, watching demonstrations in grooming, harnessing, working, riding...

Receiving a gentle nuzzle from a horse and smelling their sweet chaff-breath was so nostalgic from my teen years!

And they are sooo loved and pampered by the gorgeous young 'horsey' staff ❤️🐴

I highly recommend this wonderful behind the scenes experience!
